| so this is a little story i thought you would all enjoy
as i was on my way to my friend Erica's house this past saturday afternoon my car broke down i was about an hour away from battle creek near the spring arbor exit and my car just coasted to a halt about 30 yards from the exit ramp after about 10 minutes of discovering that there was nothing i could do for my car i chose to don another shirt and trek up the exit ramp to some houses that i could see from the highway once i reached the top of the ramp i spotted a house of to my right rather then the longer walk to my left so i venture to the front door and rang the bell promptly a 13 year old about my height with an xbox controller in hand answered the door i asked him if it was okay for me to use the phone on account of my current predicament and he said it would be fine, more confused then concerned the impression i got was that he was the only currently home and i was correct after i contacted my father to let him know what was happening he set out to come pick me up i enquired if it was okay for me to stay at the house in order to keep warm and the young teenager let me know that it would not be a problem his name was austin, he liked playing, 360,he was the youngest of three, his older brother had moved out and his older sister who he was not too fond of, she lived up stairs after endeavoring to not die on halo 3 the phone rang and his mother was calling to inform him that she was not far off once he hung up the phone he let me know that she might be perturbed because he did not let her know that i was there once she arrived he walked down the hall into the kitchen where they were entering the house and said in a confident tone"there is a stranger in the house....he's been holding me at gun point" by this time austin and i were quite chummy so i trusted he knew what he was doing but i was still a little scared his sister first then soon after followed by his mother came down the hall to discover that indeed there was a stranger in the house but once they found out that i attend a christian college felt no need to be alarmed and warmed up to me soon after i had a warm cup of coffee accompanied by a cookie and some conversation once i felt that it had been around an hour at these peoples abode i called my father and he had just arrived at berkley(my car) so as not to drag this out anymore i will shorten it my father used a think rope and towed my car home through back roads i sad in my car to steer and break in necessary all the while i froze my tookus off
hope you enjoyed that |
